There are two simple levels of membership within the Wealthy Affiliate training platform:

  • Free (which is completely free, no credit card details required) and;
  • Premium (charged at US$47 per month which is approximately £35 per month)

Nothing more is ever charged, there are no up-sells, add-ons or anything like that.

All the tools, training and support that you need to be successful are included within the monthly fee.

My recommendation

The purpose of the Free level of membership is actually a really good one in my opinion. This is a real chance for you to build your own business and the free membership is available so that you can take a look to see that it is genuine without any risk to you whatsoever.

All you need is a valid email address to get started. At no time will you be asked for credit card or paypal details. There’s no “Sign up now” and be charged money in 30 days.

Free means free here.

Free work at home course

The free membership gives you access to a great 10 part practical course that will result in you creating the framework and publishing your first website.

The course is delivered online through videos and tasks to complete and if you get stuck on anything, just give me a shout and we can work through your problem together.

It may be hard to believe as an outsider to the Wealthy Affiliate community, but we really are geared towards helping each other to grow and develop their businesses to their full potential.

Your progress through the course is tracked so you can see how well you are getting on and whether you do need my help or not, I’ll stop by and say Hello in any case.

Going PremiumLearn how to work at home

You do have the option of staying as a free member forever should you wish and some people do choose to do that, but if you’re after an honest statement, going Premium as it’s called really is the only way forward.

I think it’s only fair to be upfront about that. If the monthly fee is going to be too much for you, then I don’t think this will work for you.

To put things in perspective though, the monthly charge of £35 equates to a little over a £1 per day and I don’t know of any business that you can run that cheaply.

Either way, I want to be clear and transparent on pricing so there is no misunderstandings in the future.

Discounted first month of Premium membership

If you do decide to go Premium, you’ll be offered your first month’s charge at a discounted rate of US$19, so about £14 and there’s no ongoing contract, you’re not tied into anything and you can cancel your membership at any time.

  1. So there’s no catch with the free sign up – nothing to pay at all?

    • Hi Laura,

      How are you?

That’s right – it’s a no strings attached free look at the platform.

It’s the only way we could think of that would allow people to have a good look around for zero risk.

All you need is a valid email – if you want you can setup a new specific email address if you like.

If it’s not for you, then just walk away.
